Home Buyer's Process (Flow Chart)
Seller Agent vs. Buyer Agent
How do I find an agent?
Ask family and friends for referrals, visit their personal website if agent is with a large firm, call any local Chamber of Commerce. Make sure you consider an interviewing process. This will take up some of your personal time but you will potentially spend a significant amount of time with this person so you better feel comfortable with them from the start…especially if they are representing you in a life decision.
What are the mistakes to avoid when buying a home?

Not seeking guidance from a real estate professional
Choosing an agent haphazardly
Not getting enough information about the properties
Not looking at enough houses for sale
Not making the correct price comparison
Forgetting to calculate all the costs
Not asking enough questions
Fear of losing a specific house
Not looking past the interior decorating or cosmetic improvements
Being pushed into buying a certain home
How do I start a real estate search?
