Keep grass mowed & shrubs trimmed and snow shoveled
Pick up lawn tools, toys, and newspapers from the front walk and entryway
Clean up after any and all pets

Interior

Pick up toys and shoes; make up beds and put clothes away
Prepare tables with flowers and place settings and set out coffee table book
Turn off the television and play soft background music
Tidy up bathrooms and set out new/fresh or show towels
Open drapes and shades; turn on lights and make the home look bright & cheery
Do a quick dusting and give carpets a once-over with the vaccum
Keep pets out of the way. Make sure all pet areas are clean and odor free
Keep kitchen counter tops clean of clutter.

Special Tips for Showings

• Secure jewelry, cash, prescriptions and other valuables
• It is usually best if you can leave while your home is being shown
• If people who are not accompanied by an agent ask to see your property please refer them to your sales associate
